Walking pneumonia. Mixing antibiotic & A/D ok?

I checked the website and it says "moderate." For Prozac, and Azithromycin... I found out I had walking pneumonia and my nurse says its ok to mix the two...was wondering if you guys have before?

If you have questions your pharmacist will be able to answer them for you. I am always calling mine, they actually know me by now as many times that I've called them but they are very good with drug interactions. If I go to drug interaction checker all my drugs are moderate, so I really don't let that bother me anymore. Feel better

It is good that your prescribing doctor is aware of your current Rx regimin, so that you were prescribed something with low/no interaction risk.

In general, antibiotics are safe...but like Cheri advises, a call to your pharmacist is never a bad idea.
