I've come to terms with the fact that I have health anxiety, however no matter what I try (yoga, therapy, etc) I always end up back in the same place. For the past few months I have been experiencing the same symptoms (pains in my chest, gas, shortness of breath when lying down, recurring chest colds, muscle aches) and I have myself convinced I have lung cancer. I'm a 30 yo female with a pretty healthy lifestyle, and my head tells me that's most likely not the case. However, I've gone through ekgs, stress echo, chest x-rays, and all have shown nothing. I feel like my GP thinks I'm crazy, but I genuinely feel these things going on. My question is, can anxiety and stress cause symptoms like I'm having and if so what can I do to stop them?!
