Keep your faith Kitt!
I hate what ifs but I have also experienced miracles from God when things seemed hopeless -suddenly all was well
So what if- everything is going to be fine?
What if- everything seemed to be crashing down but it all turns around?
All my best to you- will sign off and pray for your strength and healing for your husband.

Kitt, you are such an inspiration and always there with a kind word for those of us that need help. It's our turn now to help you. I know you have all of the skills possible to help you through this. I'm sending you lots of strength and positive thoughts to help you weather this new challenge. We are all here for you and your family and hoping that you find some peace during this storm.

To all who are concerned and sending thoughts and prayers,

I got an e-mail from Kitt. They are awaiting more tests and labs, and hoping to get some more answers soon on hubby's status.

Kitt is holding on, but of course worried and wants her husband to come home.

Keep them in your prayers everyone! Kitt may post more herself, or I will update (with her permission) later.

Morning update:

The dx remains congestive heart failure and renal failure.  2D Echocardiogram done last night, should get results today.

He had a tough morning so far and remains weak and short of breath with activity.

I appreciate the prayers. Keep them coming. My morning has been full of tears  and anxiety.

I must get back in the moment.  I am afraid to go to the hospital and afraid to stay away.

Dear Friends,

I am still crying as the Dr. shared with us my husband's 2D Echo showed an ejection fraction of 25% when he should be at 60-65%.  He also is showing signs of kidney failure but hopefully with rest and meds he will soon be home where this nurse can take care of him.

I am lost without him and my anxiety won't quiet down.

Kitt,

I am so sorry...I know that this is not the news that you wanted to hear.

However, I have heard of people living a long and normal, if a quieter/more restful, life with ejection fractions at that level.

Is there a medication or surgical procedure plan at this point to get him ready to be back at home?

Try your best to stay in the present, and not project fears about what the future holds. He will rally...you are both strong!

We are here for you...to listen and be of encouragement and support.

Update:

Kitt is hoping that her hubsband will be discharged to go home today.

Of course, he will need to follow up with a cardiologist for the long term plan for his health needs.

Please continue to keep them both in your prayers...and to continue posting encouraging messages here.

I know that it helps to keep Kitt's spirits up, and anxiety down.:)

Ejection fractions mean nothing to me, but I hope what SC said about living a long and normal life is true. Still continuing to wish you both the best.
