i'm so scared this morning

scared about all kinds of things. scared of the dark, of problems at work, of all the things i need to do to keep my life running right.

my boss will be back today after 3 days at a conference. really afraid he will load me down with work. i kee telling myself i am not alone. there are plenty of other people who have hard jobs. and i'm trying to use my 12-step tool of detachment. i don't have to make my job a big deal if i can just think about it right.

my sister is gone for 4 days and i get a little scared of being home alone. mostly that something will go wrong.

i am very familiar with this morning anxiety, having felt it for a few years now. i am also aware that as a child, i felt anxious every morning.

Keep doing your deep breathing and try sipping some ice-cold water, if you feel you can.

I feel we're in the same boat, right now. My parents have left me as they've gone away on holiday and won't be back 'till Thursday. I've been quite panicky, especially at nights but just keep breathing and telling yourself that you'll be okay and that you're not alone. (We're all here for you, too!) :D

Your job sounds quite demanding but just do your best! That's all we can ever do! If it ever gets too much though then please try and speak out. I know that can be difficult, I really do but sometimes your thoughts and feelings need to be voiced.
