khaiz,Intrusive thoughts can be common, and are completely different from the voices heard in a psychotic episode. Anxiety does not develop into psychosis...so you needn't fear that you are headed in that direction...as they are two separate conditions.
I think that pursuing therapy for this, either for the first time...or revisiting it for continued healing, is going to be very important for you.
