Quick question about tight throat

Just a quickie about something that spiked my curiousity. If you get a tight throat feeling, can it make your ears hurt from time to time? Also can it make you feel like mucus you're swallowing is getting stuck? :p

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm going to say yes to both. Especially the mucus one because I know for a fact that I've had that. I know it can be scary, but don't worry, you're going to be fine.

I never really paid attention to my ears because I was more concerned with my throat, so maybe somebody can help you out a little more.

Hi Daxter,

Just a quick question. Did you ever find out if you had a hiatal hernia or not? I was wondering because so many of your symptoms are identical to my daughter's and I'm wondering if they might have missed a hiatal hernia when they did her endoscopy.

By the way, she was diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), which her GI doctor thinks may be causing her symptoms. Just thought I would mention this to you, because POTS is often misdiagnosed as Anxiety.

An endoscopy said I don't have a hernia. I'm not so sure about POTS either, nobody's brought it up. I just really, really, REALLY want it NOT to be reflux, because that's for life. I couldn't live like this every day, I'd sooner end myself than live in pain everyday like this. :(
