I have touted the benefits of music before but, today, I am taking my own advice.  I have a computer with 1TB Hard Drive so I can run as many programs as I want at the same time.

Today I initiated my AOL radio and have it playing in the background as I post here in the forum................back to the 60's right now.  Yeah that ages me but I like the music of my generation.

I totally agree Kitt, music helps me too. My iPod is always playing with music from 60s right through til current day, rock, heavy metal, pop, you name it. A song can bring back some wonderful memories and put a smile on your face.

Glenn Miller, nice!! I also use this one in my tap classes!

Hi Kitt

I totally agree re music therapy as music soothes the soul. I listen to music most days and it's one of the only things that takes my mind of things. The 60's was a great generation for music so many good bands but for me it's late 80's early 90's that rocks my boat.

Yes! Music can help!

My good friend has this HUGE record collection from little known (and well known) bands of the 60's. He knows them all!
