It sounds to me like anxiety, not angina. I used to have heart health anxiety, my chest area always hurt. My Dr and Pharmacist told me that I was holding myself so tense that it was creating my muscles around my whole upper chest area to hurt. If you find yourself tense, try to relax, do anything to take your mind off of what is causing your anxiety.
I'm assuming you have seen a Dr about
this? If not, then possibly you should. But your age is telling me it is something other than angina or a heart issue. I can't even tell you how I took my mind off my heart health problems, I think mostly I just chucked it up to something that I did to cause the area to hurt. I had been to a cardiologist though and got a full checkup, stress test, echo and resting echo, but even after that I focused on my chest. I guess I just put the whole thing out of my mind so I do not even focus on it anymore. Again, try to relax and not focus on it so much. (I know, easier said then done, but I did it, so it can be done)
