neuropathy?

I personally haven't heard of that in particular, but you can always ask your doctor.

I had a s/e on one medication a while back that caused extreme water retention and turns out, that was just enough to also cause pressure on some nerves and my arms, bilaterally, were in pain.

Sooooo, that being said, call your pharmacist and your doc,...

It might also be absolutely nothing related, and is just part of our anxiety train! ;)

with some of my panic attacks, I had burning sensation in my arms, and face. I've posted about it before, especially when I first found this forum. It freaked me out so bad. It really feels like nerve pain. I have a small amount of nerve damage in my arm, and some arthritis in my neck. The neurologist said that wouldn't cause what I had. Mine would drive me crazy, almost feels like my nerves were crawling. It was intense at times that my hairs on my arms would stand up, like static electricity. Not goosebumps like when your cold. One thing that helped me is a nice warm bath, and sit in there and relax. Not sure, if this helps but it could just be related to you being anxious that medicine is making you have a reaction?? And if you still have issues, like everyone said talk to your doctor. Good luck.

When I first felt it, omg...I was freaking out. I googled it and it said I was having a stroke. So of course, I started feeling symptoms of a stroke, because I've become a hypochondriac. That is still one symptom I can't come to terms with yet, or get rid of completely. The other one is the dizzyness, lightheadedness I get from time to time. I am coping way better these days, I hope one day we can figure out why these things happen and get a complete cure. Hang in there..Best wishes..

I do know for me when it gets like that, I go sit in a warm bath. Some reason that does calm mine down a bit. I've often thought it could be an allergy to something because of the way my hair on my arms stand up. My neurologist wants to do a skin biopsy, but I have put it off because I am sick of test after test with no results.

It goes away....it fades away,....

But the more we concentrate on it, and think about it, and worry about it,....the more it sits at the forefront of our thoughts, and thus we're aware of every tingle.

Try taking a shower, -- I take cold ones, as the heat makes me ill. But the idea is, any type of sensation that is 'new' on the area can help break up the pattern you've been feeling.

Goes to show, we're so different in what works for us, yet we're so alike in the symptoms we collectively share here with each other.

It will pass....for real! :)

Merrida is right, yes mine passes, and then sometimes out of the blue it happens again. Last night I ended up getting some anxiety because my dog had 5 seizures, one after another..so I went to lay down, and my arms were burning and tingling...hair standing on end. Also my scalp was too this time, but I have gotten so used to this sensation I took a half of xanax and laid with an ice pack on my head. For sure, we all have different things that will work for us...It will definetly pass. How are you feeling right now?
