Hello,
I'm new to this website, and the subject of this topic explains why I'm here. Around easter this year I was put on mirtazapine 30mg tablets for my mild depression and insomnia, and it was working okay at first, but just recently I've developed panic attacks and waves of depression that left me feeling run down and (edit) "having thoughts of self harm". As soon as I found out those were common side-effects of mirtazapine, I went off that stuff quicker than I was even thinking rationally, and I must say, I had a few really rocky days after I went off of it, but slowly I started to feel a bit better. although my health anxiety is still thriving, and I think I have a new illness everyday... It's just really tiring... How can I cope with all of this without going on medication again?
