I think I'm going to try stopping ativan for a while because it makes me so groggy. I can't take it during the day when my anxiety is bad because then I can't work or stay awake, and when I take it at night I feel really tired the next day, which just gives me more anxiety. I just bought a bottle of this natural supplement called Tranquilene, one of my friends recommended it and says she takes it every day and it really calms her down. So we'll see how that works, i hope that going the natural route will help my anxiety but still allow me to function during the day!
I don't get panic attacks after naps, but usually when I nap during the day I wake up and feel really anxious. Haven't been able to figure out why that happens, but I've never heard of anything similar happening to someone until I read your post. I hope you start feeling better soon!
