Thanks so much for the responses so far. This anxiety is the toughest thing I have ever been through, and I have been through A LOT. They checked my thyroid when I first began having all these CRAZY symptoms and said everything was normal. Maybe I should have it checked again.
After online searching, I upped my magnesium intake to try and subdue these heart palpitations, but when I am in stressful situations, they pop right back--in full effect.
I tried to do the exercising too, but my heart rate spiked to 176 after a brief 3 minute jog---so now I am TOO anxious to do that either. Anyone ever had this type of anxiety? I still walk, but find it very difficult to exert myself more than that. Even when I lift heavy things I am terribly uneasy and my heart rate zooms. The cardiologist said this is likely due to deconditioning, but geez, I never thought I would be that deconditioned from pregnancy!
Oh, and I do have benzo's for emergency use but haven't used them in 2 months and am so grateful for that, and will up the Lexapro to a higher dose when my baby turns 1.
I really could use some more input if anyone has any!
