i am a male 40 year old, i am from india, state gujarat's town !
i am married n 9 year old son. i am retailer, hands and power tools with hardware shop with do jobwork in my shop also as astrologer professional based on "indian vedic astrology"

i am nature loving and fond of indian bollywood songs singer lata mangeshkar mohammad rafi n etc..

be spiritual n spirituality is my last goal of life !

Deborah, thank goodness I thought I was going to be the oldest one here, but not quite! Where in Washington do you live? I'm here too. There are also alot of Indiana and midwest folks here. Awesome as I was born and raised in the midwest. Spent younger years in Bloomington, Ind and the rest in St Louis.

I'm 51, female, single. I have 2 grown kids and a new grandbaby. My daughter is 26 and she and her sweetheart live in Kansas and have a 5 month old boy (my first and totall adorable grandchild). My son is 22 and lives close by me. He and his girlfriend are expecting a baby on Christmas Eve this year. I'm an only brat and my parents are retired and live in Arizona.

I'm an administrative assistant for a major medical insurance co and have been for 18 years. Also work part time in retail. I love cats and have 2 sweet furballs of my own, Panda and Ivy. I'm a Christian, love Jesus and go to a wonderful church. Enjoy outdoors, family, going to movies, gardening and LOVE the ocean!

I have been at HW for about 8 yrs. (off an on at the start) and a mod for about 2 or so?

So over time, I have gotten to know a lot of members...some better than others as we have a lot of turn over, naturally.

This is GREAT to get to know you all better Your interests, talents (WOW Rrakkma! Amazing artwork!) vocations, family life, ect.!

I do consider us a family here at HW. Whether you are here sporadically, or everday...a short-timer, or in for the long haul...it is fitting that we know eachother!

I would say that together we make a pretty boss tribe. cool

Hello...new here and so nice to meet everyone. I am a 37yo female living in Northern California. Did you feel the quake Scaredy Cat? Woke me up! I am a mother of 3 beautiful boys. I don't do too much besides go to work, as the anxiety has cut off many of the things I used to love. I'm scared to do just about anything anymore. I struggle with anxiety every single day without fail. It really kicked into gear after my third child was born three years ago. I'm so happy to find this place and hope that I can spend some time reading all of your posts and ideas to help me become human again.

Oh yes...I shot out of bed like a jack-in-the-box! I used to think earthquakes were all fun and games...my sisters and I would laugh and get excited when a tremor hit...

...until Loma Prieta...and then $*@# got real!! Not laughing anymore.;p

I am glad that you found us as well...and yes I am sure that being part of the community will help!

Your welcome, I saw a post from Merrida saying someone start a thread so I figured I would do it..I think it's great to get to know everyone since we all talk to each other, alot anyway. At least this time we don't have to think about bad things. Hope any of you that dealt with that earth qauake are alright.

Can I just add that I have no anxiety/panic support groups in my area (or within 60 miles of me, which I would totally drive to if I wasn't scared to drive, haha), so you all are all like my support group that I so desperately need. And I don't even live in the boonies! I live within 30 minutes of three good size cities totaling well over 200,000 people with not one single anxiety support group. Now that's a bummer.

Hey everyone. So happy to see ages and such. :) I feel like I am in a similar boat as some of you! 32/F, also living in the Midwest. I live in the city, but really love to get away to the countryside. I have 3 kids, an awesome husband, and also a Christian who loves Latte's, writing, and traveling (when I am not in my anxious state!) I've been dealing with anxiety my whole life, but only in the past 7 months has it became a SUPER BIG problem with heart palpitations and anxiety attacks and such!

Hi I'm a 32 yrs old female from Phenix City, Alabama I've been married almost 7 yrs we have 2 beautiful daughters 10 and 6. I've just currently got accepted into the medical assisting program ;)

Im hazel or kris or Kristin haha I'm as old as scaredy cat 44 will turn 45 this Saturday.I have two boys. one is 21 the other is 8. I've never been I usually feel like the odd man on the totem pole for that one but it's my life. just never met met Mr prince charming yet. I think I still have time. Haha I live in a suburb of Tulsa Oklahoma and I'm a Legal Secretary.
I love horses but dont own any anymore. I spend most of my time with my 8 year old because his dad works nights but I wouldn't have it any other way. we have loads of fun together!
