Hello all. I have to wear a heart monitor for 48 hours starting on Sept 12th. Needless to say, I am quite nervous. Can
Anyone tell me what they will be looking for and
What's the worst they can find... I already have had a ct scan, echocardiogram, and stress test come back normal.. You would think if I had anything serious it would have been caught in any of these tests. As usual I am really nervous... Your thoughts?

My mother wore one of the heart monitors as you described. It also came back normal. I wouldn't worry too much . That will only potentially make matters worse. Practice your relaxation techniques and ask your doctor what they will be looking for. Knowledge is power.

I wore one so they could try and catch my pvc's while they were happening since usually they don't catch them on an EKG. I wouldn't worry if the rest of your tests have come back normal.

you will be fine. your doc is just doing the routine checks is all.

No need to be nervous! I wore one for 24 hours a couple of weeks ago and the results came back normal. They wanted to rule out heart issues as the source of my dizziness, etc., which has been attributed to anxiety.

I was really glad to wear it and confirm that everything was OK.

I will just be glad to finally get it over with.... Hopefully
They won't find anything wrong and I can focus on treating my anxiety. I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for all your support!
