I had chicken fingers and fries about 3 months ago and the same thing happened to me. It was SO DEPRESSING. I started eating all health foods from there and very small quantity of foods at a time. Smoothies, veggies, special k cereal. I cut pasta, bread, and most carbs out of my diet for quite a while, though I eat them again now in small quantities.
Another trick that I added while doing this was to take Epsom salt baths every 3 days. (Which basically absorbs magnesium in through your skin.) Magnesium really helps to reduce palpitations.
My situation has since gotten a LOT better, but there's another small trick that I found if you want to enjoy fried foods every now and then. It is to chew it up a TON, and eat very little. Somehow my stomach can handle the fried foods every now and then when I am really careful about how much I eat, and how much I chew it up.
Hope this helps you too!
for how long do you soak in epsom bath ..if i may ask..for me very long soak in hot water gives me palpitations ~
