anxiuos over new medication_ Tricor- for high Tryglycerides

Hello Family,

I have been prescribed a new medication. I am very scared of this medication. I'm trying to convince myself that
I need it to help me with my high triglycerides!

I am just very nervous about taking it!

Well to be fair, the only way you're going to find out is to take it. Remember, you always have the ability to stop taking it down the road if you decide this is not the path to take. You're in charge (with your doc, of course!) :)

Josh, my tri's are high also, this is the one and only blood disorder that
responds to exercise, you can burn them off, use your best judgement and
make your decision from that, "my email is listed and you are welcome to
contact me at your leisure". Peace

My husbad takes a statin...not because his cholesterol is high, but because he is type 1 diabetic...and therefore they want him below optimal, since there is a pre-existing cardio risk due to his illness.

He has had absolutely NO issue with his Rx!:) (Tricor is not a statin, but another class of med for cholesterol, but you still should not anticipate negative s/e's)

I have no words to express my gratitude! I am going to start working out again. It has been 6-7 months since I completely stopped exercising!
