I'm lost for words Kitt has been such an inspiration to me and has helped me through some rough times over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family

Kitt was always there so help me through whatever was troubling me. She and SC were the first ones to respond to my first post and to welcome me to the HW family. Words can't express how sad I feel that her journey is coming to an end. She was always there with encouragement and kind words to settle even the most dire situations. May God remain with her during her struggle give her the peace she so much deserves. Truly she is an angel and will find true happiness in Gods embrace. As always my prayers are with her and her family.

I haven't been on for awhile but wanted to check in. Something in my heart just told me to and my heart sunk when I read this post. I've been following Kitt's Caringbridge page, but hadn't see the most recent entry yet. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family. Praying for a peaceful journey home for her and for strength and comfort for her family. Thank you Kitt for all of your love, advice, and words of comfort here on HW. You have been and always will be our angel.

We have all been lucky to be able to 'connect' with Kitt online or in real life. She's an amazing woman, wonderful loving mother, great nurse and caring friend who continued to offer warm words of support and encouragement to those in need of help despite the challenges she has been going through herself.
My prayers are with her and her family.

Just curious if anyone's heard any update since the call-out for 24/7 nurse care?
I'm keeping my own spiritual vigil....

I only saw one FB post from one of her grandaughters a few days ago..
She had a picture posted of Memphis laying on the couch. (Memphis is Kitt's beloved Doberman)
A. was spending the night at Kitt's house, and said that she didnt' have the heart to make Memphis move from his post...even though he is not allowed on the couch!
I asked A. to give Kitt love and hugs from us...and thanked her for taking such good care of her grandma.
Nothing new to update healtwise...

From C.B.
Edited....most of it was details for Kitt's (Mary's) collegues to come help as round the clock nurses...
"Mom has had a rollercoaster of a week, some good days and some bad days, so we take them as they come right now, and are trying to make her as comfortable as possible.
I have been reading all the Guestbook entries to mom, since she is unable to get to her computer room, and she appreciates all the love she is receiving from everyone.
Thank you!!"

I am feeling so sad. This is reminding me of my best friend who died from breast cancer 2 years ago last memorial day.
She was not ready to leave this earth. She wanted to live so badly and hung on so tight.
Kitt is a rock for so many. She doesn't want to leave those who she feels need her so much. She is continuing to put everyone in front of herself and cannot find the peace to let go. Comforting others is how she has lived her life and she has done an excellent job. It's what made her feel best- but it's time for her to let others comfort her and go in peace.... I can understand the reluctance and fear. She's in my constant prayers.

Sending my love to Mary and her family. 4years ago my mom was dying of a lung cancer and I was crying on this forum. Mary was the one who helped go through that difficult time. I feel sad... I also feel sad for her children. It is enourmous pain to loose a mother. Stay strong, sending hugs and love. I am not good with words, but my heart is full of feelings for this family.
