I don't generally 'do' caffeine either, but it *is* one of the ingredients in the rx med I take for migraines.
Every now and again I'll indulge in coffee, and I'm usually okay with it. Yes, I do notice a difference because my body is not acclimated to caffeine intake. But I tend to just ride it out.
Excellent suggestion to drink lots of water because that has a two-fold benefit. Caffeine is a diuretic, making you more dehydrated. So by drinking water, not only can you help sort of 'dilute' what you've ingested, but it helps to compensate for the diuretic side of things!
