I have only ever been on 150mg ever....one pill, once a day....all of a sudden in the last 6 weeks I am on 2 x Effexor, one BP med (amlodipine) and 3 x propranolol a day plus 2 x magnesium .....I hate it!!! Shoving a cocktail of tablets each day in and it makes me feel out of control....I mean how do we know how they are interacting and long term??? Just a rant.....don't like it!!

I've taken amolodipine be****pril (generic for Lotrel), for 6.5 years. I also take pristiq, 2 Lamotrigene tablets, Deplin tablet and vitamins lol. Technically I'm on 3 rx's - 2 for anxiety/depression & one for high BP.
I'm 43 & otherwise healthy besides anxiety/depression, high BP & a bit overweight.
Hugs!
Lisa

I take Lexapro 20mg and Lisinopril 5mg for my BP. I've been on that combo for over a year. No problems so far!

I'm on A/D meds and also take two HBP meds as well. Been doing that for years now, and I've had nothing negative pop up....except my mood is more balanced, (even if the noggin gets wonky every now again), and my BP is at the absolutely lowest it has ever been in my entire whole total life!
For me,...if it ain't broke, don't fix it. So my cocktail works for me. But if you personally have concerns about
yours, I'd suggest bringing it up to your doc specifically. Maybe you can adjust your cocktail? Food for thought....
