In the last year, what are some issues/diseases you were sure you had? Here's my list (in no particular order)

MS, heart attack, stroke, blood clot, pulmonary embolism, frontal lobe epilepsy, fibromyalsia, brain cancer...among others i'm sure I forgot about. Seems almost funny when I read it like this, but living it is so much different!!

It is good to relate and have common issues that we can share...to know that we are not alone...

...however, lest we get fixated on the negatives or triggers of our disorder...I am going to go in a different direction and list what I did in order to find relief of my health anxiety.:)

*CBT
*self-help (including the health anxiety material here in our Resources)
*not googling symptoms
*positive mantras and other coping skills
*exercise
*support here at HW of course! :)

I laughed reading this. Because a) my answer is also all of the above and b) it definitely looks worse in a list! I hate living it and have recently been doing worse at fighting it.

247panic I couldnt understand more! I've always been a health anxious person, but since I had my daughter almost 7 months ago, it has gone out of control!! It's never been this bad and I hope it's hormones that have gone crazy & maybe just maybe everything will go back to normal someday!
