OK Been on 10 mgs of citalopram and I do feel much better. BUT the sexual side effects are horrendous!!!!!!
Is this gonna go away?!?! Please please please tell me this is gonna go away please!!!!! Ihave no problem with the ladies when I'm "crazy" can't leave the house, pissed , anxious, think imma puke all the time, strange, introvert, but a fella that can't function OR CANT FEEL ANYTHING?!?! I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT TO THE STREET AND SHOT! Please tell me there's hope

Yes these side effects are possible with a lot of the ssri's but they should pass after a couple of weeks if they do not I would go back and speak with your doctor and see if you can change to something else which does not have this side effect.

Agreed...give it some time, and if it does not resolve...talking to your doctor about an alternative is an option.

Hoping the s/e's lessen soon.

Hi. I've been on many antidepressants and they all have had those kinds of side effects for me. Not fun at all. :(
