TMJ clicks/pops with no movement? Or long after?

I've been dealing with TMD for past few months now. Just cant afford treatment right now. :/

The thing that worries most me, is this particular joint. It started acting weird, ever since I robbed the right side of my face vigorously. Not the brightest idea, I know. I had it in my head, I could get the stiffness out my face, with no issues. Guess I was wrong. :(

Now the right side of my face hurts, & pops like pop corn, especially after biting/chewing. (Right ear started ringing too. I must have aggravated the ear tube.) Will this go away on it's own, or should I see a doctor? I fear I may have damaged something, pretty badly.

It's got me incredibility anxious. I can't even sleep at night.

My mom is a dental hygienist. I can try and ask her if you like. Try and keep yourself busy to see if you can forget about it.
