You are safe, I broke the 39 curse! And thank you, I've suffered more deaths in the last 10 years then I care to talk about. It's all part of life, but it sure sucks.

In my wife's family a large bunch of the men died at 53, her daddy
brother, two brother in laws, as that age approached i had a few
times it bothered me. I'm 72 now and i realize that these kind of
thought are useless but at the time it had its effect.
Now i am thankful for each day, thats how i wake up.
"Thank You Father for this day", then i get up and have coffee and
see who i can aggravate. lol Peace

I read the obits every day. And like you I look at their ages to reinforce my health anxiety that people my age discrimination die every day. Jolly good way to start my day!!! I never read about people who live long. My own mom is 93 and still runs! My dads mom lived to 104. You'd think I'd concentrate on that. But no!!! Ugh.

I appreciate everyone's reply... Looks like this is a normal occurrence for people who have HA!

Specialone - Wow, your mother is 93 and still runs!?!?! That is amazing! Sounds like you got good genetics to live a very long time!!!! Rest easy my friend! My mom and dad are still living and going strong though they are only in their 50s... My grandma is 84 and gets along pretty good although she is quite frail.
