My PCP said that most depression happens during winter or when the time changes, not sure about anxiety however.
She told me that the decreased sunlight and change in vitamin D could cause me to feel more depressed, she did tell me I need to be outside whenever it is nice during this time of the year because of how it effects people.
So again, this was not directed at anxiety, but I think the two sometimes go hand in hand.
