I don't know that I've ever mentioned this before, but I just got my drivers license 3 years ago. And I am far from 16! I had a couple scrapes. Nothing serious, no one hurt, except for my nerves. I basically stopped driving for a while because of fear but knew I needed to get back to it. I've been driving a lot this past year and I have to say, I'm a good driver. I know my limits. I dont go on highways, though I have before. And I prefer not to drive in the dark. Bad weather, rain, snow, doesn't bother me. However, my anxiety my nerves are really on edge when I have my son with me. I've gotten better with that. He's a GREAT passenger, but you know, precious cargo and all. Anyway, I have to go out with him today. I believe he has pink eye and possibly an ear infection so he needs to go to the doc. It's not far, I've taken him there in the rain before. No problem. It's just that it's brutally cold outside and were expecting more snow right at the time we'll be out. I know I can do it, but my anxiety is definitely high right now in anticipation. I need your good vibes with me, please. Send safe and comforting thoughts :)

Hi ME,
You will do just fine. It is the over confident drivers that scare me...
You know your limits, as you say, so you will be careful and you will get to and from the appointment no problem.:)
You'll likely be going during down time in traffic, which is a plus, right?
I hope that you and the little guy are back soon, and that he gets the meds he needs to feel better!
Check in with us when you can and let us know how it went.:)

John, that made me laugh. And you were right.
SC, thank you!! Yes, traffic was light thankfully because visibility was horrendous. There were a couple times I slid a little. Actually right when I left. And I turned down a side street because I was ready to cry and quit. But I sucked it up and did it! Got us there and back and to the store to fill his prescript
ion, too! So glad I went. Both his ears were infected, but one was pretty bad. I had to do it for my boy and I did.
And now I think I'm going to have a glass of wine.

Way to go, ME! I'm proud of you. I get a little nervous lately when I drive in the dark and when it's raining. Oddly snow doesn't bug me much because usually people are driving so slow it's like we're barely moving at all. I know how you feel though. Driving with my son makes me far more upset!
Way to go on doing what you had to do! Enjoy that glass of wine!

Thank you, Park :)) Yes, luckily everyone was driving slow since its fresh snow. But I was still freaked out. I feel so exhausted right now. I think it's going to be a lazy pizza night over here.

Glad to hear everything worked out for you ME. I'm not a fan of driving in the snow either. We had snow and bad roads here yesterday too. I was glad I ran all my errands the day before! You don't live in MN by any chance, do you?
I'm glad you were able to take your son to the doctor and get him the meds he needed. Great job!! You should be very proud of yourself.

I don't, Miss Gigi. I live in IL. These long winters are really taking their toll, aren't they? Thank you for the kind words! Stay warm, friend!

Proud of you Mother ~ sometimes the most difficult things to do are also the most rewarding. Getting your son to feel better will be SO worth it.
Here in NE Ohio it is FRIGID and snowing too - whee! Winter doesn't last forever
Thank God!
