The first time I ever was put on Zoloft was many years ago, and my Doctor at the time had a little kit, and for so many weeks you would start off at 25 and then it would increase.
I do well on 50 to 75 mgs, I think I even tolerated 100 mgs, but once I was upped over 100 mg's I became very shaky and couldn't tolerate that dose.
Two years ago when I was put on it again, I was on a low dose like 25 mg's a day, and I started feeling better within a month, by the 3rd month I was doing very well, I had some life events that really was traumatizing for me, I think I should have just stayed on the Zoloft at the dose I could handle, and I would have been able to work through the issues that I was going through, the worst thing I did was allow my medicine to be changed, because of how bad I did on all the other medicines I tried.
Again with any medication you never know how it will help, but for some reason Zoloft did wonders for me, I know I will always be an anxious person, but it did help with the anxiety a lot, in retrospect my worst days on Zoloft were better than my best day on any other medicine I have tried to date.
