Sorry you are going through this. Having your specialist appointment will help to put your mind at ease, but not a pleasant wait in the meantime.
I know everyone talks about breathing/meditation exercises, but I really found that they help me, especially with pains. Even if the effect only lasts for an hour or so after doing the exercises, it reminds me that the pain really is due to the anxiety because if it wasn't, I wouldn't feel better after doing them.
Another thing I have found that helps with pain is a heat compress/wheat bag etc... Helps to relax the muscles.
