I have bad spring allergies and take zyrtec so i dont break out hives.... Until the pollen gets real bad i take benadryl... so normally i take benadryl and 1/4 to 1/2 m. of xanax in the morning... my question is does anyone take zyrtec with xanax ? just wondering if its safe? I get kind of funny about taking meds esp. if im having anxiety. please let me know if you take these meds. together..

Hi

I personally don't see any problem with taking these two medications together I have taken similar together without any problems.

But remember I am not a doctor so I would strongly recommend that you go and see yours to see if there would be any problem mixing the two or go and speak with your pharmacist who would be also able to advice.

Agreed...it would proably be fine...

...but the quickest way to find out for sure would be to ring your pharmacist and ask.:)

, but call up your doctor of pharmacist. I personally just call my local pharmacy and ask. They have a ton of medication knowledge and a whole database that is regularly updated. They know what's going on.

Don't 'Google' it though. That just leads to confusion and anxiety.
