My 2 year old has it and I'm on high alert. He's in our bed and I'll be up all night. My adrenaline was just pumping so I took my xanax and am trying to mellow out while he coughs his little butt to sleep. What a rough weekend.

Oh no!! Poor little guy!

I am so sorry...for all of you!

I am sending healing thoughts for him, as well as peace and calm for you.

It is so hard when our little ones are sick.

I hope that he recovers quickly, and that you and hubby stay well.

How did it go through the night? I'm so sorry he's so sick. :( I know how hard that is on you seeing your baby sick. I hope he gets better soon. Poor baby.

Poor baby!! It is so rough when the kids are sick. Waking up with every single sniffle or cough. Hoping he gets well soon.

I am so sorry Park. It is so hard when our babies are sick and we can do nothing but try to keep them comfy. I hope he feels better soon hun.

Oh so sorry to hear this!!! It's always so tough when the little ones are not well! I'm not sure if this will help you, but t sure helps me to think about how we have world class doctors and nurses just a car drive away.... Will keep little man in my prayers too!!! Seriously!!!

Thanks, everyone. It was a LONG night. He doesn't seem any better to me, but his fever is only 99.5 right now which is technically in the normal range, so maybe the antibiotics are helping. He's had 3 doses so far. My husband is going to the doctor tomorrow because he's sick and I'm fighting it with every tool I've got!

Sounds like its a secondary bacterial pneumonia then? Good...the abx will knock it out soon.:)

...and even if you or hubs have/get the original virus, it does not mean you will progress onto the pneumonia.

Still, rest as much as you can and stay well/recover...all of you.;)

Glad his fever is down!
