My close girlfriend who supported me through my darkest time this summer, has had a stroke...her second actually. She has many other medical conditions that I won't get into, but if those of you who pray could pray for her, I would appreciate it. Her family is struggling right now and this was the last thing they needed to take on. They need prayers for healing and prayers for strength.

I am so sorry to hear this.:( I think I remember you mentioning her previously. That is so tragic!

I am so sorry to hear this.....my closest girlfriend of 50 years died after a short illness and I know how awful that prospect must be to you. I hope and pray that she can recover...many people do, including the husband of the girl I just mentioned. We will all send prayers her way, and yours.

Thank you all. Jaime and her family have prayed for me many times so I know they would appreciate this.

As for me....well I'm back on the insomnia train. No amount of meds keeps me asleep, so I'm im the bathtub, listening to soothing music that Hibee posted in hopes that it'll tire me out.

Thank you, andwes. I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my best friend and his brother to a fatal car accident 15 years ago and it's a heartbreak like none I've ever felt. I'll say a prayer for you too. I'm sure this has been so hard.

Thanks, friends. I was basically up all night with that full body anxious feeling. I think I'm going to try and do a mindfullness video right now. I've heard no news yet on my friend. Her husband said to text before I call her today to make sure she's up for it, but I think I'll wait a few hours in case they're actually getting some rest.

Thank you everyone. She is still in the hospital, but seems to be doing ok. They will keep her there for a few more days and monitor her for deficits and treat her as best they can.

Thank you, Larry. I truly appreciate that. I am still praying for her as well. Not just for her healing, but for strength for when this is all over. She is also a sufferer of A/D and they are in trouble financially and were already buried in debt before this. These days in the hospital are causing her great stress, so I continue to pray for peace for her.

You are an awesome friend, Park. I truly believe there is not much better than prayer and petition when it comes to caring for those we love. I am sooooo late to the punch, but I will be asking God to watch over her and help her to heal!!!
