Hey guys,
I realize that anxiety and stress can do a lot of things but I so need your reassurance on this one. I've seen and spoke to my doctor as well as a GI doctor and they keep telling me IBS and anxiety.
It seems that I have a problem with anxiety every time I eat (right after). Not even 20 minutes later I get extremely anxious and have to make a bowel movement. I also feel a bit off balance and faint. I never faint but I do feel anxious and strange. Usually the bowel movement appears to look normal but it happens right after I eat. I am so scared that this is a sign of a bad heart, congested heart, blocked artery, some sort of stomach blockage, blood clot, blood flow issue, oh the things that I think of. Then there's could it be Crohn's disease or some GI illness.
Do you think it's possible that anxiety can cause this? Or IBS? I get so anxious after I eat and I want to know what can cause this. My doctor keeps reassuring me but I'm so afraid she's missing something. I do suffer with SEVERE health anxiety. I'm so scared this is my heart even though I've had extensive testing on my heart in the past.
