Wise Words

All,
While making dinner and simultaneously obsessing over a small purple bruise on my forearm, my partner turned to me and said:
"If you want to find something wrong you always will."

That really resonated with me. As anxiety sufferers we will ALWAYS find something. Whether it's an ingrown hair that hurts or a pounding headache. We're always overly aware.

Things in and on our bodies will always be there-- the simplest things-- and we will always find them. But it's how we react to them.

Oh yes yes, I totally agree.
That's why my husband tells me that actually my obsessive thoughts are like an addiction :O
I guess also that's why hypochondria has similarities with OCD.

A couple days ago I asked him (since he searched for my worry on the internet, like he is making a homework) then when I asked about a specific thing as a symptom and he said "no you don't have it"
And I said "darn..." xD He was like "What do you mean??? Isn't it good??" xD ahaha

That is so true. One of the ladies I work with said something that was really powerful to me, she said "don't be so afraid of dying, that you are afraid to live". That really hit me, and I try so hard to think that when I am freaking out, but as we all know - it's so hard to :/
