Have you discussed any other painkillers that have less common interactions?
You are still pretty new to taking SSRI's (5 weeks now, is it?), so it's still pretty early days for the Zoloft.
To answer your question about jitters, it's not uncommon for antidepressants to cause those kind of symptoms, especially when you've been taking them as short a time as you have.
Case in point, I was on Prozac for the better part of 6 months. The frequency of panic attacks went down, but for a lot of that time, I did suffer from being on edge a lot, leading to derealisation and restlessness a lot of the time.
My serotonin has been boosted though, and my Zoloft is much more therapeutic at the moment, so being on Prozac for so long probably helped me reduce side effects from the switch. I should also mention that I was on beta blockers for a short time. Bodies need time to adjust, some more than others. Hang in there.
I'm not sure who originally said this, but a quote I like to think of is if it feels like you're going through hell, keep going, you're heading in the right direction.
