Hi Trifin, Yes I'm sure being away from your family and friends has something to do with you feeling lonely. Do you use video chat, like Skype to stay in contact with them, I think it might help you some if you did.
I'm sorry you are having a hard time making friends where you live now, I'm sure there are people out there with the same interest as you and hubby have, You just need to venture out and find them. Maybe join some clubs or do a craft class or some other kind of class that interest you.
I feel lonely alot too, I have no friends except for a few online friends I've made over the years, But no real life friends, Oh ya I have a couple now that I met at a pain management class that I see in class every week, but we haven't gone and done anything and don't really talk much outside of class which is ending in a couple weeks. I do have family around though, I live with my parents due to being disabled and my kids come see me often, but it isn't the same. My husband passed away 11 years ago and I've had a couple relationship since then, but they weren't my husband so they didn't work out, I'm lonely for companionship but not willing to put myself out there, lol.
Keep on posting here, we will be your family and friend, this is an awesome community that cares about each other.
Sorry I missed you in Chat I was in the kitchen finishing up cooking dinner. I'm still there for a while longer if you want to come in and chat.
