Five things that make you smile/content

1. My son's laugh or just about anything he does
2. The rare occasion that my dog lets me snuggle him
3. When my husband says that's he's on kid duty and it's spa time!
4. The smell of the air anywhere tropical....(Hawaii here I come!)
5. Naps outside on a warm/breezy day

Great thread...and overdue...it's been awhile!

Gratitude is an antidote for anxiety!!

1) Going to the beach...made it 2x's this week!
2) Family time...and conversely quiet time too!
3) Hearing 'I love you' from my husband and girls. (and being able to accept this as true!)
4) Good wine. (Just got a shipment from our club.)
5) Anticipation for our 20th anniversary extravaganza later this month...Rush concert and trip to Paso Robles! :) :) :)

I've got tons more...but I'll repost later after others have had a chance...

HT, I'm sure her face lights up when you Skype. I am excited for you to be with her soon. I'm usually jealous of the happiness of others I don't have, but I'm truly happy for you.

I've really lost sight of the idea of smiling lately, so thank you for creating this thread. Here are the 5 things that do make me smile and give me reason to continue the fight.

1. My boyfriend of 9 years: his hugs, smile and encouragement
2. My two fat cats: their whiny; their moody; but they always seem to know when I need them and will cuddle up at the right time.
3. My rottweiler: she's 6 years old with the zest for life of a puppy, always wanting to explore and prance around
4. Hula hoops: although I haven't danced with them much lately; they tallow my creative expression.
5. Watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks at the feeders - ai can sit for hours and do this.

1. My two boys always put a smile on my face. Just looking at them I feel peace.
2. My husband when he's around and helps me through my anxiety
3. Our big family hubby and I when we get together
4. Being alone to relax and do mindful meditation
5. Rainy days when I'm home. Love hearing the rain hit against my window when I'm in bed.
6. My night chat friends from HW.

Family.
Vacations.
Beach sunsets.
Driving on a warm day with the windows down and the radio up.
Yoga.
