I've been there. Those thoughts. Ick. The whole "I'm a failure" thing....all of it resonates. Trust me, (I mean you don't have to, I'm fairly new to this forum and I'm not a therapist and I'm kind of a spaz - so no pressure here) but I feel pretty confident in assuring you that this shall pass, and you are far from alone!
I tend to get so anxious that I can't focus on breathing or mindfulness and my anxiety takes me a whole weird "which coping skill should I use" place where then I become anxious about that. Just today I tried to do a guided mediation APP by some lady who called herself "Shazzy" and five minutes deep I had decided that Shazzy was a horrible fake Australian grifter. (Just a side note for you, so you can get a glimpse into my wonderfully skewed perception of the world on a bad day).
Anyway, sometimes just getting it off my chest gives me instant relief. Being heard. So kudos to you for coming on the site and reaching out! That alone is a big step! I hope you are feeling better.
And I'm sure Shazzy is a lovely person ;) (but the accent was super fake).
Thank you Weezy. I appreciate your response. I have become nuts. I been worrying for everything. And I mean everything. One day at a time. And hopefully I can get through this.
