Hello Healingwell Family! I know it's been too long since I have checked in. I hope you all are doing good. I received an email from TMA and it totally made my day to hear from her!
It feels so weird to be posting again. I used to love to just lay on my couch with phone in hand reading everyone's post... It was truly a therapy for me and helped me handle my anxiety issues. There's no doubt that God led me to this site. I found it at the height of my anxiety and it literally saved my life! Believe me when I say that I consider each and one of you a true friend!!!
I have been working on my business and we are doing really well. We now have 60 employees and continue to grow. We are in the process of acquiring another company in northern Ohio so I will be traveling a lot between two offices.
Sadly, my depression and anxiety is always there... Some days are worse than others. I continue to use all the tools that I learned here on HW but I find myself just struggling to get the through the day at times. This "anxiety thing" can be so tough. And to the members whom I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet, I want each of you to know that I know exactly what you are going through. No one will understand your pain like the people here on Healingwell.
I am proud to say that I finally made it off the couch and into my bedroom! I have been sleeping in my bed for about
8 months now. Am I the only one who sleeps to fight anxiety and depression? I am finding myself sleeping way too much.....I have my windows covered in blankets to keep the room dark and I just sleep.... I hate it! Keep me in your prayers that I can get over this slump and get my butt out of bed and face the day! We should be closing on that other company next week so that should be a motivation to get out of bed! We'll see....
When I think of you all and this site, I have to smile! The "Healing Well" phase of my life got me through some unimaginable pain and anxiety. I have always said that this site has the best members and the best moderators! I will continue to keep you all posted!

Hi Cornell!
Never got to meet but you seem like a really good person and someone I'd like to know!
You're definitely not alone with the whole just wanting to sleep and lay under blankets all day. I feel trapped inside my own head unable to talk to even my fiancee! It's truly awful. It helps whenever I get up and actually do things. But it's so hard to actually get tele motivator to get out there and do things.
You're in my thoughts and prayers!

Hello friend! You know what? You amaze me! You were the very first person to respond to my very first post. I have been away all these months and here you are, still helping, advising and inspiring here on HealingWell. Your resilience is awe inspiring! You are a big part as to why the anxiety forum is so special.
If there was a "Healingwell Award" for a Good Samaritan, you would definitely earn one!
Good to hear from you!

So nice to meet ya and thanks for the response! I can totally relate with everything you said especially about
not having the motivation to get up and out of bed! When I am in my sleep phase I don't want anyone to interrupt me. I don't answer phones and am way too grouchy if someone comes in my room!
Glad to know I'm not alone in this!
I'll keep ya posted!

Dear Cornellll! <3
I'm glad you checked in. Also glad that business is going fine :)
I had some living room couch issues long time before but returned back to my bed. I find that sleeping in a good sleep hygiene room helps with the anxiety issues.
You are gonna be ok Cornell, keep it up and be busy with work. All will be fine <3
Sending positivity and a bowl of mixed berries!
