Nice to find you over here too. Thanks for sharing more about the Conscious Transitions program, savruby. I've stumbled upon it a few times in my own research and wondered whether others had found it helpful.
Reading your comment above about feeling paralyzed by your anxiety made a light bulb go off in my head. I feel like with other manifestations of OCD, for example, excessive hand washing, no one reinforces the individual's anxiety about germs and says, "Well, if you feel that way, your hands must be really dirty!"
It's not fair when we hear, "Well, if you are anxious about this relationship, it must really be wrong!" It makes it that much harder to get the help we need.
I find it more helpful to separate the anxiety from the relationship and address them individually. Just my two cents. I really wish you the best and would love to hear how things progress for you. Thanks again for sharing!
