Hi Folks.
It's that time again to check in and tell us how's your week been? Good or Bad?
I have been busy I got the keys to my new house on Friday so have spent the weekend doing DIY. The place won't be ready to move in until the end of next week at the earliest but looking forward to getting my own space. Anxiety levels have been running high this week but i'm enjoying the ride and going to ride it out the door.

I remembered that today is usually the weekly check in so I wanted to stop by. I have been doing great with my anxiety. I am currently prescribed 20 mg of Lexapro and 1 mg of Klonopin 2x daily. The first 2 1/2 months of this anxiety crisis were very scary but now I feel things are starting to stabilize. I have been on the Klonopin for about
a month now and the fact I have been on it this long scares me a bit but my pdoc wants me on it another 2 months. I'm worried about
withdrawals when I eventually have to get off of it but anyway, I dont want to think negatively. Today is an anxious day for me. Monday's always seem to be. I was hit with morning anxiety that I haven't felt in a while. But I'm at work right now and working on my positive self talk. And trying to focus on the tasks at hand.
Probably just a set back, I have had some stressors lately, a lot of arguments with the wife as we balance the care of 6 our month old son, with our work responsibilities, etc. And yesterday was a big fight and it really bummed me out. I already felt a little bit of anxiety from the day before...I also think it could of been the fact I ate a lot of my sons candy (he is only 6 months old after all so Daddy gets the candy!) and my diet has been crazy bad! I usually stay away from caffeine...but you know...CHOCOLATE is awesome ha ha. And living in Miami, Cuban coffee is great even though I have been trying to avoid it. Sooooooo I think all of that triggered the little bit of anxiety I have been feeling, plus I have been slacking on my mindfullness meditation. I hope you are all well. And if you are feeling a lot of anxiety right now, remember IT WILL PASS!
I honestly feel I have been to hell and back these past few months. I cant thank Scaredy Cat and Hibee enough for all their support as they have answered every post from my most stressed out moments to my calm and collected ones! This is a a great and safe place!

I'm sorry to hear of the recent conflicts with your wife. I remember those early days of navigating the division of responsibility. ..with little ones, work...schedules...
Trying to remember that you guys are partners in this labor of love will get you through...I've no doubt.:)
I am glad you feel this is a safe place for sharing and support. ..that is our #1 goal here...so thanks for your input to our community. ..and keep posting!

Could be better. But I can't complain!
Picked up Cymbalta to start taking the lower dose again, got my event monitor I've been waiting 7 weeks for, started Metformin for my blood sugar levels, got a medicine to help with my lungs, slow progress, but progress!
