Hi HW Fam,
Had a couple of weird sensations today.First it started off as pain in my left forearm, closest to me. It wasn't a super deep pain, but it wasn't a skin sensation either. It was just a throbbing annoying pain that went away after 15 min or so. Then, as I'm leaving work, I get the same pain in my left ribs, lower than my heart. Once again, not super deep, but not superficial either. Just sort of there. It got better about
5 minutes after occurring. Naturally my head goes to the worst place possible and I think "heart attack." But I'm 24 and as far as I know, healthy.
Things to consider that could cause it:
I had a pretty painful blood draw last week that resulted in awful bruising. Maybe some nerve damage was present (even though not entirely sure why it would effect rib cage)
My coworker offered to rub my shoulders and back because they're hard as rocks and I nearly passed out from the pain because he did a terrible job.
My shoulders are constantly tight and strained from stress and anxiety and bad posture (which I'm working on).
I slept weaseled between two dogs who give me no room.
I can't really think of anything else, but I'm trying not to freak myself out or give myself something to worry about
.

I should also mention, I didn't have any shortness of breath, my heart was beating normally, no other symptoms/sensations. Just the pain.
Sometimes i am me (HT)...

I am sure sleeping odd, and posture, and bad rubs could do all of that to ya. I know if I sleep wrong i am screwed the next few days myself. I wouldnt worry too much as it may just be sore muscles trying to loosen up as well. Mine to that all the time to me.

Hi
Well done for not googling your symptoms.
It sounds like anxiety/stress to me double up on your coping skills and see if that helps your other symptoms. Anxiety can magnify symptoms so they feel much worse.

Dear Blu, no googling! Very good :D
As for your stiffness and muscle pain, all these things you've listed in your post cause such problems. Bad posture at top of the list. I have the same problem and thinking about
my back pain doesn't make it better :/ Also you may be having a slight trapped wind problem which is known to cause pain around ribcage area.
You are fine, no problem with your heart. You are very young and a serious problem with heart wouldn't wait so long. Rest assured, you are doing good! <3

Thank you all for your encouragement!
Pain happened some last night and a bit this morning but I'm sure it's postural and muscle related.
Stayed away from google which is a victory in my book!

Yeah!! Great job!! :)
I get a dull ache and tingling in my arms from sleeping wrong, and compressing nerves...
...and I wrenched my neck a while back from sleeping in a configuration best left to 'Cirque de Soliel' performers...
...yep...trying to accommodate my cats!!! WTH?
Hope you continue to feel relief.:)
