Hi,
I know each of us has our own way of reacting to anxiety.
I have noticed with me if I'm feeling pressured or sometimes
in social situations ( playing ball with friends, dancing, or
just being with people I can get a heavy,stiff feeling in my
legs. Then when I get self conscious about
this it makes
this feeling even worse. There's no rhyme or reason, other
times I feel good and do not get any of these heavy stiff
leg, frozen feelings. Also,when I get self conscious I get fearful
that others will notice and I will not be able to do whatever
I'm trying to do.
My reasonable mind knows this is just silly and I should just
ignore it, but obviously it is a problem because after all these
years it still creeps on me and I feel inhibits me.
Can anyone relate - have similar body reactions, and thoughts.
Does anyone have advice on how to deal with this?
