I think the new job sounds like just what you need!! I struggle with anxiety but force myself to go to work everyday because the distraction is helpful...I think you will find the same!
With regards to your husband, perhaps you could hire someone to sit with him for part of the day while you are at work? Or, if he has some good friends in the area, maybe they would be interested in stopping by during the day to have lunch with him? Just a thought.
Lastly, it sounds like you have faced a lot of losses lately...perhaps a bereavement support group would be helpful for you to combat your anxiety?
