I live on a highway and every time an ambulance goes by headed towards the next town where my grown children live,I feel panicky in the pit of my stomach.I am always thinking something has happened.

J.C.,
This is not unusual...I worry about
my loved ones health and safety as well...
...however, keeping those concerns at a level that is rational...and does not adversely affect you should be a goal...
So, using the 'Positive Mantra/Affirmations' link from the Resources as a guide...try and come up with some statements you can repeat that speak against your fears when you hear an ambulance.
It will really make a difference with practice! :)
