So tonight during a spectacular round of Anxiety-Induced-Googling, i had to stop and laugh at myself because of my behavior. So in this thread i invite you to share something so ridiculous your anxiety has caused you to do that you had to stop and laugh at yourself!

You know you have anxiety when.... you're up late Googling cancer statistics! Whyyyyyy?? This is not productive in any way!! So I stopped, and bought a special candy online. 😁

You know you have anxiety disorder when you phone the receptionist at your doctors and you don't have to tell them your name as they recognise your voice as you are at the doctors so much.

You know you have bad anxiety when you need a wee at the cinema but are to anxious to stand up and go to the loo as everyone will look at you as you squeeze past so hold it in till the end then make a mad dash to the loo when film ends lol.

You know you have anxiety when all the irrational thoughts and fears prove to be just that in a anxiety free time.. bit like me over the Warning sign on the binaural beats... i was smiling to myself when it was pointed out to me, and i could have kicked myself when in anxiety free mode Duh!! i knew it was ok 😄

You know you have anxiety when you walk into mcdonalds and spot the new self-service screens you haven't used before and turn around and walk out because you can't deal with it. It's funny, I have the same movie toilet fear/anxiety and never actually connected the dots. I also have the same fear about walking up to a door and it not opening, strange but true!!

You know you have anxiety disorder when you know more about psych meds than your pdoc.

You know you have anxiety when you head out the the supermarket and have to turn round and go home as you might not have locked the door (Done this many times lol).

You know you have anxiety disorder if someone takes more than five minutes to accept your Facebook friend request, it means they hate you.

Also if someone takes longer than 5min to respond to your text it means they don't like you.
But when they finally respond, it’s like all of the angels are singing just to you.

You know you have anxiety disorder when you miss an unknown caller on your mobile and you spend the rest of the day being paranoid thinking who the hell was that.

You have anxiety when a trip to the doctors can be a standoff because even though the doctor says that all your tests came back normal you insist on a re test just in case anything was missed and inform them that wrong diagnosis.com said otherwise lol.

You know you have anxiety when I hesitate to eat things in case they came in contact with nuts and you're not allergic to nuts..

Or you stop before eating something you've eaten before just on case you've suddenly become allergic...

Or you make yourself itchy all over with an imaginary reaction...

Sucks :(

when you are leaving the country and handing over your luggage at check in and are sweating profusely and shaking. you haven't even gone through customs or immigration yet!!! customs and immigration staff scare the you know what's out of me.
