Hi Rei,
I am so glad to hear that in general things have been well with you! Great news! :)
I have had the experience you describe before...feeling fine, and then something you eat or drink triggers some symptoms....and it brings back the familiar challenges...:/
Its hard to say what exactly disagreed with you. For me, green tea can be really activating. I can drink coffee without a problem, but sometimes green tea will make me jittery. Maybe it's simply the amount. If I get an iced green tea like you had....I tend to get a large, and drink it pretty fast....as opposed to a cup or two of coffee over a much longer period of time.
It could also be as you said, another factor such as the dairy, or high sugar content of the drink...?
Keeping a food diary should help you to pinpoint any recurring triggers and avoid them in the future. Of course this could just be a one time issue as well...maybe your stomach was empty, or you were fatigued...which just helped the anxiety get a foothold....you may not have another problem again with the same drink in the future...
I hope you are feeling better soon, and that the remainder of your day/weekend is calm and fun.:)
