I was emitted into the Stanford Hospital for this exact thing. I had a fear that I would choke when I ate, because I did. I was eating pancakes in Vegas when I was like 11 and I kept choking on them. The next day, same thing. Eventually, I stopped eating in fear that I would choke again. I would chew food then spit it out into napkins. I wasn't anorexic, so they called my case "disordered eating" instead of an eating disorder. I thought I was never going to get better, but I did. If it's serious and causing you issues, see a therapist. It helps more than I can ever explain. It came back once more for a short period during my freshman year of high school, in addition to having a fear I would stop breathing. But eventually, I got over that too. If you feel scared, get help. Otherwise, your mom will drag you to a mental hospital like mine did! lol
