RD,
I think doing a moderate amount of research on what makes you the most comfortable in your choice is a good step.
However, I also recommend continuing to work on your health anxiety goals...because at some level, it sounds like this worry is going a bit over the top of what is considered necessary...and not allowing you to live as anxiety free as possible.
In other words...we could micro manage many concerns in life...but is that really living? A therapist once told me that my fears (heath related) had much less of a chance of happening than what could happen to me, say...driving in a car, or even walking down the street.
The point is...anything we focus on too much, or look into deeply will eventually lead us to reading something about
how it will be harmful...especially stuff read on the internet...
...so seeking moderation...staying away from things that are truly harmful such as poor diet choices, harmful substances (tobaco, too much alcohol, ect...)
...and doing the best we can to be healthy, while working on our anxiety recovery is a good goal.
Peace and progress!
