Xanax withdrawals?

Could my severe morning anxiety possibly be from the withdrawals of the Xanax I take the day before? My husband just brought this up to me today and I'm thinking my intensified morning anxiety could be from Xanax withdrawals since I only take it once a day.. I took it way earlier than I normally do and I felt the horrible anxious feeling about 8pm tonight and I usually don't unless I'm having a bad episode of anxiety. Just looking for answers.. tempted to call the doctor for more blood work results tomorrow

Xanax has a half-life of 9-16hrs. Therefore, if you take it regularly you should not notice significant withdrawal effects until after about 4 days. Kickback anxiety is normal after regular use of any benzodiazepine. Your body may have gotten used to your current dose and the drug is therefore losing it's effectiveness.
