Hi Guys so am on my 3rd week of zoloft 50mg am still slightly anxious but have been taking therapy. I noticed this week I keep feeling like a tingling in the front of my head am wondering if its my nerves I called my doctor and she said let her know if it continues. Appreciative for your advice

Hi MZ,
Did you just do an increase? If so, this could be an s/e...
...if not, it could be paresthesia, an anxiety symptom brought on by anxious breathing patterns. Practicing some breathing exercises would help in that case.
Hope you get the answers and relief you seek soon!

I increased my dose from 25mg to 50mg like 2 weeks ago man I didn't know breathing excercise could help this that's really cool. Is there anything else that can be done if its paresthesia thanks again

Yes, hyperventilation...something we do when anxious, and without awareness that we are doing it can cause profound symptoms!
Breathing exercises, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Meditation and Physical Exercise will all help!

Well it could be...I didn't mean for you to rule that possibility out...
...but either way...it is easy to try the coping skills, and see if that helps.

Hi
Yes it could be due to your increase in dosage of your Zoloft I would keep an eye on things and if things don't improve go back and speak with your doctor.

Same I felt like that for like a month starting zoloft last time it feels like there is really something altering the brain right? I think that's pretty normal as I have it again. And my anxiety is worse I'm on day 6

Lexapro made my hands and feet do that a little until I got used to it.

Well I notice the brain tingling have calm down a bit I think it has something to do with not getting enough rest. My panic attacks have calmed down too. Hope and help for your nerves by Claire Weekes I found this book recommendation posted here on healing well and its so amazing within minutes of reading it my soul felt like the weight of anxiety lifted. The book explains the medical specifics behind anxiety. Please read and I always said I would never take pills for my anxiety, depression or panic attack but don't do this alone and most of all pray and have faith. NEVER GIVE UP

I really like Dr. Weekes, too. I have the audio book version. It's not the full text, it's only an hour and a half long. She reads it herself. I find it really comforting when I'm not feeling my best.
