Yes, it is expensive...but you can't put a price on your health...mental or physical.
Think of it this way...if you had a physical issue that was causing an equal amount of loss in quality of life, you would probably find a way to finance it, right?
Most therapists are private practice, so they have overhead, insurance...and other costs they must cover in running their own business...
Sliding scale, SKYPE appointments, group sessions...and teaching facilities/colleges all offer lower cost therapy options that you may want to look into.
